β The Jets might not stink.
π° Fantasy football season is here.
π― It won't be easy for Georgia to three-peat.
π Jets Making Moves
The Jets have not won a Super Bowl since 1969 and have had one winning season since 2011. That was then, and they are ready to forget all that.Β
π§ͺ Win-now roster: The Jets have more than quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Now they have running back Dalvin Cook, a four-time Pro Bowler with the Vikings, to go with Breece Hall, Michael Carter and Zonovan Knight. They also have wide receiver Garrett Wilson and the makings of an explosive offense. They will go as far as Rodgers can lead them.

π§ Trench work: Many people are questioning the Jets' offensive line. But those concerns might be overblown. The Jets have capable o-linemen. They just have to get healthy and build continuity. Or New York might have to add another Packer.
π¦Ready, set, go: Head coach Robert Saleh wants his team to prove it. "We proved last year that we're a 7-10 football team with a really f---ing good defense and a mediocre offense. That's what we proved. Flip that f---ing s---!"
π¨True test: The Jets have the 7th-toughest schedule in the NFL. They face the Bills, Cowboys, Chiefs and Eagles in four of their first six games. By mid-October, we'll know if Gang Green is legit.

Under 9.5 Wins -105
π Hard Knocks omen: The Jets are the 19th team to appear on "Hard Knocks" before an NFL season. Seven of the previous 18 made the playoffs. The 2010 Jets were one of them, when they went 11-5 after starring in "Hard Knocks" and lost in the conference championship with Mark Sanchez at quarterback. That also is the last time the Jets made the playoffs.
π Mr. Rodgers' neighborhood: Aaron Rodgers is not making any guarantees like Joe Namath or talking about the $9.5 million house he bought in New Jersey. He's focused on getting the Jets ready to win. But he turns 40 on Dec. 2. It will either be "No Play for Mr. Gray" or the 40-Year-Old Surgeon.Β

π§ Sports Betting Tip
Back the teams that blitz.
Preseason NFL offenses are usually rudimentary and do not game plan for their opponents. Defenses typically play very conservatively as well. Every once in a while, however, a defensive coordinator will blitz the opposing quarterbacks in an exhibition contest. More often than not, the opponent's offensive line isnβt up for the task.βSteve Reider, NFL, Betting Predators
Georgia Needs a New Identity
Georgia starts the college football season ranked No. 1. It won't be easy for the Bulldogs to win a third straight national championship, but don't bet against Kirby Smart's squad. They have a new quarterback (junior Carson Beck) and are working to find the right players to replace all the dogs that went to the NFL. If everything clicks, Georgia will be the first FBS program to win three straight national titles in the modern era. Minnesota was the last team to three-peat in 1934, 1935 and 1936.

That tough jets schedule is where I question their ability to hit above 9.5, I think it'll be close which makes sense given those odds on the over/under
